Punter Hunter Smith has re-injured his groin and will be out against the Falcons.  The Washington Redskins will sign 3-year punter and former Cowboy Sam Paulescu to handle the punting duties against the Falcons.

Alridge is back - Today, the Washington Redskins announced that they signed RB Anthony Alridge to the 53-man roster.  He was on the Houston’s Texans practice squad.  Alridge will take the spot that was created when Randy Thomas was put IR.

So, word out of the Park is that Clinton Portis should get some snaps in Saturday’s game against the Bills.  It’s very hard to tell though.  One moment it’s mentioned he isn’t playing and the next it is.  I’m listening to Zorn who said Portis will play.
