Redskins 2009 Opponents
The Redskins opponents for the 2009 season will be as follows:
Home Game Opponents:
Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Saints, Buccaneers, Rams, Broncos, Chiefs
Away Game Opponents
Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Panthers, Falcons, Lions, Chargers, Raiders
The schedule will be released in April 2009.

Redskins Lose to 49′ers 27-24
The Redskins lost to the 49′ers in the final seconds of the game. The 49′ers attempted a 40 yard field goal and the Skins watched as the ball went through the uprights ending a season that started off so promising. The Redskins finish with an 8-8 record at the bottom of the NFC East.
