Free Agency Update: Springs

According to the Washington Post Redskins Insider, Shawn Springs was informed that he will be released today.  His release should provide somewhere between $4-$6 million in cap savings.
I guess this means that Carlos Rogers will play out his current contract this season.  The Redskins could possibly bring in another veteran CB in free agency as well.

Free Agency: Ready, Set, GO!!!

On your mark, get set, ready?  GO!
The Redskins jumped out of the gates of free agency by agreeing on a contract with Deangelo Hall for 6 years and $54 million.  The contract includes $22.5 million in guaranteed money and $30 million over the first 3 years according to NFL.com.
