Redskins Lose, Again. Eagles 27 - Skins 17

Posted by: hail2skins on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Well, there isn’t much to say.  What we see on the field speaks for itself and there isn’t much being said.  A lot of folks expected the Eagles to win and they did.  The Eagles came out and ran a reverse early in the game to put their first points on the board.  Then Jason Campbell had a ball intercepted for a touchdown.  I knew the game was over at that point.

The Skins went on to turn the ball over 4 times.  They were also dealt a huge blow to the offense when TE Chris Cooley left the game with what is being called a broken ankle at this point.  We should know more on Tuesday but we can expect him to miss a good portion of the remainder of the season.

So much for having a new play caller.  The Skins looked very bad on offense, I mean simply terrible.  The defense gave up some big plays but they dd manage to get some pressure on McNabb and even forced a fumble.  Too bad they couldn’t recover it.  The did manage to hold Philly scoreless in the 2nd half though.

All-in-all it was a terrible performance from the offense today.  Nothing has changed.  It’s like they regress with each and every game.  There is no improvement at all and this is what we have to put up with for the remainder of the season.  Personally, I don’t see them winning another game at home.

Here’s to another rough week in Redskins Nation.
