The Dan says “We’re Apologetic”

So Dan comes out and says how apologetic the organization is for the fans.  He did this while announcing a partnership between the Redskins Charitable Foundation and Prince Georges County public schools.  He mentioned how he felt for the fans and how embarrassed and disappointed the organization is.  He also stated how they are working hard to turn it around in the 2nd half of the season.

How apologetic can you be when you ban signs from Fedex Field when fans try to express their displeasure with the organization.  You disguise the real reason for the ban under the safety umbrella.  Give us a break, we’re not that dumb.  By the way, those towels you handed out a couple of weeks ago can cause some injuries as well as they’re being waved.  They can also obstruct fan’s views, should you ban those as well?  Don’t tell us how apologetic you are when your actions speak otherwise.

Dan, the fans don’t need your apology although it was nice of you to do it.  What we do need you to do is look into a mirror and realize that it is your fault.  All the decisions you have made over the years lead us to this point.  You made these decision hiding behind your so-called President of Football Operations Vinny Cerrato.  You think you know how to build a football team and you don’t, so stop trying.  FIRE VINNY CERRATO and get someone that knows how to do it.  Then YOU get out of the way and let them do their job.  Don’t tell them you want a certain coach or player, let them take care of that.  All you need to do is sign their checks.

That would go a long way with the fan base and might just bring you and Redskins Nation what they want.
