hate to bring this up again but I just saw this tidbit.

- The NFL teams that have expressed some interest in Brock Lesnar so far are the Redskins and Vikings.

Like I said before can't hurt to look at him

Will he probably suck? Yes.

Does it hurt to at least give him a workout? No

I have to agree with PSF on this one...pass. We've got enough to do in the upcoming pre-pre-season to just get this team to gel. We don't have time for remedial training for this "wanna-be."

Maybe we can get Coco B. Ware to play safety!

Can anyone tell me how to get a picture into my signature? I can get one to post in the main body but not down in the signature.

At least its not Brock Berlin. Work him out, test him for funny stuff: if he can play, why not?

What a bunch of BS ............. This is Gibbs not Allen.

Give him a workout, will 3 hours to look at him be so rediculous? I know we shouldn't be even entertaining notions like this, but has anybody seen our line recently? It was in shambles last year.

Even if he can get only one body to body suplex per game, be might be worth a look. ;)

I agree with Patrick. This is not a Fantasy Football team people. I cant believe this keeps coming up. He could not succeed in the NFL. Just because it is a brick crap house it still is a crap house.

what's the harm in giving the guy a tryout if he some promise
puthim on the practice squad. I however can't believe were
even talking about this!

It can't hurt to try him out. This guy is an athlete in every sense of the word. Those guys, be it are entertainers but they are also iron men. They take beatings hitting those mats like night in and night out, they are constantly doing a gig seriously hurt, and are extremely strong, fast, and agile. Lesnar I believe was a national champion collegiate wrestler (i think) and is a BEAST.
Given, I don't know if he's got the skills to play pro football, but I would definitely give him a look. Lesnar could kill a man if he played DE..the guy is bigger, stronger, and faster than anyone else out there with his size.

I would give him a chance. It can't hurt anything....

I hope if we get him Snyder won't get the bright idea to charge $50 for us to watch the Skins pay-per-view. Maybe at halftime Jerry Jones and Snyder can have a table match. that would be sweet.

The Rock, Stonecold Steve Austin, and Bill Goldberg were all former professional football players. (the Rock played DE at U of Miami and the CFL, Austin DT at Tennessee i think, and Bill Goldberg played for the Falcons. Its not completely insane to give him a look. Most wrestlers are former football players. But do I think he'll be any good? Absolutely not. This is the NFL we're talking about.

Haha, yeah...I was thinking maybe a 6 man tag match.....Snyder, Gibbs, and Riggo vs. Jones, Parcells, and Michael Irvin.

I don't think he has much of a shot..but like the others are saying, it doesn't hurt to give him a workout.

Give the guy a chance already, I'm tired of these Koko B. Ware threads.

If the guy himself is serious, yes I'd let him prove something! One of you guys brought up George! You're right! But after enduring the line last year, why not see what the guy can or can not do? Even if you used the guy as a third and long, psych the qb role player??? Agree with others that this is insane! But maybe that's what we need on this line! Bring him in, if he sucks, cut him.

Could he possibly do any worse than the DEs we had last season? Even if he provided no pass rush we would still be in the same place as last year, but probably at a cheaper salary!

Bottom line is, this team has to start cohesion, building chemisatry,a nd learnign the Gibbs style and tone of football. We don't have the tiem to teach somebody how to get in a three point stance and fundamentals of tackling.

Make the time then! We still have Renaldo milking this team!!!

I agree with PennSkinsFan...but as an athlete I would love to see this guy do a Combine style workout...lesnar is like 6'4, 290 and can probably run close to a 4.5 or 4.6. He is all muscle and power.

I would even go as far to say that no one in the league currently could match up to him physically, which is why he feels like he has a chance and left the WWE.

I can't even imagine what he could bench....Ha, but yeah he probably can't play football but I would love to him line up and knock some guys down or maybe just F5 'em.

Are we forgetting that no matter what he would have to try out.. So I'm sure he would learn the basic's before he tried out. If the team liked what the saw then they would keep him.

Cohesion? we still haven't had the draft or signed UDFA so what would be the difference if their was another body?
