Per ticker on ESPN News. Saves 1.3 Mil against the cap to keep McCants and get ready for draft.

much expected and anticipated as well. didn't think he hid a very solid job last season. Friedman was the better center in my eyes.

Thought he was going to be a June 1, must mean he doesn't have much of a bonus to prorate, or we are desperate for cap space for McCant and BJ.

He was a waste even when he was heathy.

Good release. Friedman would be a more than adequate back-up. Raymer....I don't know. He has some serious health issues. If his health can stand up, then all the better. I'm now wondering what we are going to do with Fiore.

Releasing Fiore would cause more dead money, given the bonus he got last year. Between him and raymer, hopefully one will stay healthy.

We havent cut Fiore that im aware of.And I hope we dont.When healthy and under a real line coach ( that protects his qb and plows open holes w/ the running game) I think he will do just fine.
I think Raymer has the skills to start again for us at C.If not then Friedman should do fine.i mean if he even looked decent on our line under SS then who knows how good he really is.

This is the start toward releasing players for cap or because they are sub-par / or both.

First Moore, now rumors of Terrell. Is Trung next?

Fiore is the better player when healthy, maybe the rumors of him calling it quits are bs??? But his knees seem to be problem in his career. He's a guy I'd bet would respond to Bugels rants. Just guessing Fiore 1st in guard and my man Winey 1st in tackle?

Moore was sub-par at best. Raymer ???? This is now (and was) the weakest part of our O-line (not including TE). Somehow I don't think we are done addressing this. Look for our 5 rounder to pick up a center.

We need depth along the offensive line and guys like Raymer and Friedman and Fiore give us that.

We can't cut everyone :)

Nah, i don't think Center is a weakness. I think Friedman has sowed that up nicely, did a good job,a nd actually, I would prefer top see Raymer stay as depth and Friedman stay as starter. Cohesion began to build by mid to late season on the Line and keeping that Line together will be criticall for continued cohesion and development.
