That is exactly my concern with Springs

I'm not concerned at all.
This is football, everyone gets hurt. Some players because of the positions that they play may not be able to play through certain injuries that other positions may.

Yes, but not more so than any other player.

Yes I am because I just dont want to hear from all the goofball writers (pastabelly) who will eat it up if Champ has a good year and Springs does nothing.

Anyone of the players could be hurt on any play. Worried when any one goes down not just springs but all of them.I dont buy into a player having a injury history. It cannot be helped because it is the nature of the game.We let G Mark SChlereth go e few years back because he was coming of his 12th knee operation. Well he went to Denver and went to a few more probowls, won 2 superbowls and finally retired after his 20th knee surgery. We lost out, Denver made out.

its a small concern, but not overwhelming. if he goes down, i wont freak becuase we have capable backups. last year when bailey and smoot got hurt, i freaked out.

As long as it is not Bowen knocking him out, yes we have capable back ups. The person I am most concerned about getting hurt is Clinton Portis, if he goes down then Len Pasquerilli will have a field day with it.

Let's hope our trainers can get this guy healthy and keep him that way.

Yes I am very concerned. I hope that he will be ok...or I hope that we have a decent backup for him....

yea, injuries are always a concern. Although, I was much more worried last year about champ and smoot. I think we've upgraded our depth at CB significantly this year. I'll be even less worried if we get some lineman to pressure the qb.

I think you'd be crazy not to be a little bit worried about his health, he has been injured most of the last 2 years.

You have to be concerned. He hasn't been healthy his whole career. I'm not as concerned because I think a change of scenary will be good for him and I also think that we have capable players able to play for him. But you have to be concerned.

That would be a very, very big concern of mine. That is why we must have a strong front four. I really hope we address the D-line either at end or tackle through the draft. Just not with our 5th or 6h rounder lol. I firmly believe that with our lbs and a D-line we have yet to assemble , we could overcome Springs getting injured with Brown, Harris and Bauman filling in.

Our secondary is almost as bad as our d-line, we have one stud in Smoot, and an injured gu who may or may not return to form. Our Safeties were terrible neither cab defend the pass and Bowen can't tackle or stop the run.
D-line is in every draft, Sean Taylor isn't.

Yes because he is the only corner we have that can match up with a big receiver.

Springs is a tough cookie who was finally healthly last year and unfortunately got hurt again. I've gotta think that wont happen again.

I'm with rskinsfan10 on this one. Anybody can get hurt, it's a violent game. Some get hurt more than others, some experience freak injuries which you can't control. I'm not worried at all, someone will get hurt.

Yes im concerned but i voted no because walt harris is a proven number one in this league for the last 8 years a veteran who knows the biz and is solid. Not to mention Bauman wasn't a problem as a number three. add Ralph Brown to the mix and sounds pretty deep to me. And this is all without springs. With him CB's as a total group would be ranked in the league's best. why not? Iffy and Bowen have to support to make it fully work.ovs.

here's our depth chart now in the defensive backfield:
LCB Springs Shawn, Harris Walt, Jimou Ade, Hall Michael
SS Ohalete Ifeanyi, Lott Andre
FS Bowen Matt, Franz Todd
RCB Smoot Fred, Bauman Rashad, Brown Ralph
that's 11 db's. pretty good depth. i dont think we can carry than many on the roster unless some make good special teams guys. some might make the practice squad.
