This is a rumor that came up on sportsline.com and he quoted his source as being the newark star ledger of a possible 3 way trade involving the skins, gints, and niners

niners trade 3rd and 4th
niners get WR amani toomer

gints trade WR amani toomer, 2nd and 5th
gints get WR rod gardner and LB jerimiah trotter

skins trade WR rod gardner and LB jeremiah trotter
skins get 2nd,3rd,4th, and 5th.

Toomer just restructured his deal which had to include a signing bonus. The Giants would have to eat that and would be back in the cap position they were prior to the restructure. I don't think they'd do that.

Have to agree with RB on this one. No way we'd trade Gardner and Trotter to the Giants. Just like the Giants wont trade the Skins their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th round draft picks for those two.
