No, I don't think they should.

nope... keep jeremiah at middle.... if we trade trotter to another team, then we should move him to the middle and put antonio pierce at right lb

keep him on the outside...let him use that explosiveness on the outside

I voted No. Let's find a true middle linebacker.

I voted yes.... however it all depends if we sign Warrick Holdman, former chicago bear... I think Arrington, Washington , and Holdman would be the best three backers in the line-up...Any new news on the signing of Holdman????

I think that we should live with what we have. We don't need 3 studs at LB we already have 2 we just need a linebacker that will stuff the run on 1st and 2nd down. I think that Mitchell can handle this role until Clifton Smith is ready to take over.

We're paying him money on what he accomplished on the outside, let's allow him to do what he does best.

Said no. He seems to have too much pass rush ability to be tied up in the middle.

Why would we move him to the middle when we have an excellent MB. Rework at deal with Trotter and put this to rest! It seem like we a creating more problems than solving on Defense.

I say no,If we can land Holdman, I would like to see Arrington in the middle.Only if we land Holdman.

No way. With our DE's producing very little pass rush, Williams is going to need the pass rushing ability of Washington and Arrington. Mitchell may not have the speed that Williams seeks, but he's fundamentally sound and would do a more than adequate job of filling the middle. If he doesn't pan out, give Clifton Smith a chance.

No. Skins need to utilize his athleticism on the outside.

ditto on voting to use washington outside. but people who are still clinging to the notion that trotter might be back should wake up. gibbs wouldn't tell the guy to seek a trade if there was a chance he would be back.

and i don't think it is related to money.

I said no but a lot of it depends on whether we fill the hole at MLB or not. Right now his speed and ability to cover the TE is necessary to keep on the outside. If Mitchell cannot show that he is capable of starting then it needs to be considered but not until then.

if we move him to the middle what was the point of getting him in the first place DUH

Agreed. Bringing him in just to replace Trotter is like trading Samuels just to draft Gallery. Doesn't make much sense.

No ... his biggest attribute is his speed and that would be taken away of he played inside.

I voted no as well, but Greg Williams seems to be saying yes.

Mitchell's the man in the middle. At least he deserves his shot. He's earned it and he's definately a Gibbs kind of guy :)

no way...the guy is not built for that

nope. Hopefully we can find a true MLB, did Mitchell resign?
