If Lavar doesn't I am going to have doubts about this "Scheming" we all talk about.

i voted lavar. washington and lavar have almost the same height, weight and stats. both 6'-3, lavar at 253 and marcus at 247, i think. and i think marcus had 80 tackles and lavar 90 (last year). i think they both had 6 sacks? i cant wait to see them on the field together.
with lavar being freed up to freelance, he's a safe bet to be in on more plays than washington

i'm thinking 200 tackles and 15 to 20 sacks between the 2 of them

if Washington is the strongside LB than no .. they notoriously have the least amount of tackles among LBs.. if he moves to the middle than who knows.. i still dont think so since he'd be playing an unfamiliar position. i hope Williams leave Arrington on the weak side so he can be a monster w/ close to 150 tackles.

I don't think Marcus will lead in tackles.

If they use Lavar the "way" he wants to be used, and the D line is improved, then I would think he has a better shot at leading in tackles, but it's anyones guess at this point.

WOW - Now that's a good one! ...... I can tell you right now - IF the D-Line is not improve, the leading tackler on the team will be one of our DBs. IN FACT the top two will be DBs.

If the D-line rush is better than average...I have three words (for the leading tackler)....
LAVAR, LAVAR, LAVAR !!!!!!!!!!!

If he's healthy, Lavar Arrington will lead the team in tackles.

I actually think he will. Lavar will be going after the QB more then previous years so he won't be collecting a lot of tackles in coverage areas. He will be covering the TE and in our division with players such as Shockey, LJ Smith, and Chad Lewis all focuses of their offense he'll be in position to make a lot of tackles each game.

God I hope a DB is not our #1 tackler. That would not be a good sign.

I voted no. I'm guessing either LaVar or whomever is playing SS for us will lead us in tackels.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Mitchell. I think our MLB will lead the team in tackles. I believe that's the case with most good defenses. Remember Okliewicz :) I haven't done any research on the subject but, my guess would be that MLBs lead most Championship teams in tackles. Can anyone corroborate this?

I agree, were my first thoughts exactly but in that case I would say Taylor should be the team leader in tackles :D
