i for one dont really care who we select in this draft. i think when it all is said and done getting gibbs to come back and the coaching staff he has put together is far more important that this 5th pick will ever be. just courious here , if joe gibbs was under contract with another team , how many here would trade this 5th pick to get gibbs ??????? after seeing how sorry spurrier and his staff was , i would in a heart beat . just look at what the tuna did at dallas.

I would trade our number 1 for the next five years to get Joe Gibbs.

That's why he is better than Parcells. Gibbs is a Redskin. He wouldn't sell out and go to another team, and another, and another, like Parcells.

I think Synder made some boneheaded moves when be bought the team. I have to forgive him for bring Gibbs back.

Coaching and motivation are the keys to getting a team of guys to play on the pro level. Anybody can hire the best guy at his position and unless they can convince them to play hard every down they will fail.

Gibbs will take whatever players he has and make a contender. No throwing are helmet down on a critical 3rd player to blow the field goal. No botched holding attempts in the playoffs. AND no cell phone calls in pratice!!!

Go Gibbs and whoever he drafts!!!

Getting Gibbs was far and away our best off-season move.

Gibbs was never in actual negotiations w/ the Falcons.. he was a PART OWNER for them and was only discussing a possible return to coaching w/ the owners.. they pleaded w/ him to consider them but he told em' no.. his loyalty lies w/ the Skins'.

TB Bucs gave up a lot to get Gruden.. at least 1 if not 2 1st round picks.. Gibbs is worth at least 5 .. 1 for every year he's gonna be here.

i would trade whatever it took to get gibbs.

that said, after the raiders traded gruden, the NFL made a rule disallowing the trade of a coach.

Joe gibbs and his coaches are worth 10 Taylors or Winslow or anyone else in the draft. Coaching is everything in the NFL.......

coaching in the NFL is so important, more so than in any other sport.

The coaches have to be as much of a team as the players.

agreed...and gibbs makes it like a family, he knows their names, their wive's names, their kids and their parents, and it has a trickle-down effect where everyone will sacrifice for the greater good of the team. the talent level in the NFL is fairly equal on both sides of the ball, every position is the best guy out there...the motivation, determination, heart, work ethic and will-to-win has to be stronger. coaches like gibbs, or even parcells, or bellichek, they dont demand respect, or expect it, they command it, where it hurts to dissapoint them.
