Just watching espn draft coverage on espn and mel and mort were going to pick who every team should pick and will pick. Mel was the one who said who they should pick and mort was the one who said who the are going to pick.

Mel said they should pick taylor.
Mort said they are going to pick taylor.

Seems to coincide with what alot of people are saying... but I still wont write it down until they actually make the pick. Until then... anything can happen!

This is the Redskins we are talking about and nothing ever goes as planned by the media and fans

Mort certainly didn't say it with a heck of a lot of confidence, and said they were still deciding between the two...He had plenty of ties into DC when Norv was here (Mort worked for a Dallas paper - I think the Dallas Morning News) but I guess maybe not so much anymore. He did predict the Raiders to take Gallery at two, maybe he got that one from Norv.

The only thing that worries me is someone trading up above us and taking Taylor.

The Texans are the team that has me worried. And perhaps the Patriots. Those two teams are after Taylor very hard....

Yeah, the Post reported the rumored 21 + 32 + Ty Law for the 5th pick. I don't know that the Redskins would do it since they don't really need a CB, but you have to wonder, if Gallery and Manning are off the board, if the Giants might make a deal like that.

Washington Times writer Jody Foldesy seems to think that Winslow will be the pick.

For some odd reason, I have that feeling too. Even if the Postons are his agents.

But, since I have the feeling that Winslow will be the pick, its a good bet that we'll take Taylor....since I'm ALWAYS wrong. :D

Damn Dexter72. I hadn't heard of that. I knew about the 21 + 32 but not Ty Law also. That may be a deal the Giants couldn't pass up. But, with the Giants I see them somehow working out a trade with the Giants for the top spot.

Here's another thought. What if the Giants accept that trade with the Pats. The Giants then turn around and trade those picks to get the top spot.

Who the heck knows. lol

For that matter, why wouldn't SD take NEs trade (Law,21,32) - they need to do something.

The good thing is we only have to wait 2 more hours to find out...

I feel that it's going to be Winslow... but I'm ready to accept that and i'm starting to like it. Not as much as Taylor, but it'll do.

The DC NBC Affiliate (George Michael's station) has been reporting Winslow is the guy for the past two days -- Gibbs always has done his coach's show with Michael, but I find it hard to believe he would give that knucklehead any tip offs.
