Yes..........because of Direct TV and the NFL having an excusive contract with Sunday Ticket, not to many cable companies are going to pick up NFL Network.

You can call your cable co. NFL offers NFL Network to ALL cable and satilite providers. If you pester them enough they might pick it up.

On a side note the NFL Network has started to air "NFL Replay"....it's a replay of original broacast games, yet they "edit" it down to 2 hours. It's kinda cool because they cut out a lot of the dead time between plays, TDs, FGs, punts, etc (seemlessly, yet still show replays)....For instance when a flag is thown they edit it down, when a play is challanged they show the best replay and then the ref making the call...

I like the way they speed it up like that. After the play is over no more watching the players walk back to the huddle or the line. It looks like the hurry up offense all the time. I was watching the Jaguars and Ravens play last weekend. I was doing some more scouting on Brunnell!

I have yet to see this NFL Network, but hopefully if I get DirecTv I'll be able to check it out. It sounds like someone is finally getting it right!

Well the skins have 2 national televised PreSeason games anyway, and I'll get the other three via local cable, because I live in Virginia.

I'm excited both about preseason games (i.e., Redskins' games) and the "replay" games on NFL Network. One thing I've always lamented about ESPN Classic is that unlike the other major sports (e.g., college football, MLB, NBA, etc.) there have been no NFL games shown in their entirety.
