Being a Redskin fan I had to go O/line and Russ Grimm. But I like Mann alot as well.

Oh boy how do you expect us to choose between Mann and Grimm...daggone

I would go with Jay Schroder for a somewhat circular reasoning. Schroeder did just enough to allow us to trade him for Jim Lachey, maybe the best Redskins LT ever (with an apology to Joe Jacoby). I can't remember enjoying anything more than swindling Al Davis, whom I cannot stand.

Grimm would be #1 and Mann 1A.

a great O-Line makes everybody else on the offence look better! the QB has more time to read and react.....the receivers have more time to get seperation and the RBs have bigger holes and more time to exploit seams.
Had to be Grimm

Grimm would be #1 and Mann 1A.

My thoughts as well.

This was not hard for me at All. Grimm. When he played he was the best in the league at his position. Charles Mann wasn't even the best DE on the Redskins. Don't believe me? Go look up who holds the franchise sack record......

This has to be the most difficult poll yet, I went with Mann, but could have easily picked Grimm...very good poll though.

It's tough.... but I broke the tie.... I spent about 5 minutes thinking... and then went with Grimm. The deciding factor, I think, was that he was a better OL than Mann a DL. Grimm was an original Hog, that speaks for itself... that built a legend. It's tough to go against Charles, but I think this is the way it is.

Chris Cooley & Derrick Dockery will definitely make names for themselves b4 it's all said and done.. and don't forget our mighty mouse R. Ervins. but went w/ Grimm 1, Mann 1 1/2. Grimm is a potential HOF.. Mann was a great player but Manley was more dominant and helped Mann get more sacks.

Russ Grimm should end up in Canton right next to Joe Jacoby as the best OL tandem in league history. He gets my vote.

I picked Grimm but Mann and Walton where a hair behind him.We ended getting Jim Lachey for Schroeder.Who also still has the Redskin single season passing yards record. So they all where very good players for us. :Peace:

mann was too much of a beast for me not to vote for him, even though grim was my favorite hog

This is the best poll to date.

Russ Grimm or Charles Mann - both played in 4 pro-bowls. ...... I guess I have to lean towards Grimm. He ended up being a coach for us. Mann did go play a year in SanFran.

Mann was the man, but Grimm was the best guard in the NFL for a decade.
