Redskin players and coaches took a break from X's and O's on Wednesday to tee up at the Redskins Golf Classic at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va. The annual event raised more than $100,000 for the Washington Redskins Leadership Council and its signature youth programs The news is slow so I thought I'd thank the Redskins for supporting the community....Thanks......http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=1576

Its great that the skins are supporting the community, however these guys love to take a break and hit the links. I would give so much to play with these guys, god how cool would that be 3 or 4 hours playing with some skins. Golf is a very humbeling sport even for the greatest of athelets. I have seen doctors and lawerys throwing clubs and acting like kids, it so much fun to see grown men lose it on the links. I bet Danny boy uses a foot wedge every now and again like judge Smells in caddyshack. I play alot of golf in Va Beach and see Bruce Smith alot, he hits it far but is a two off the tee kind of guy, last week i was behind him with some guy who looked like his lawyer and the whole time the two were on there cell phones hacking it up, it was so much fun when they had to let us play through. I wanted to yell back Bruceeeee so bad. I would love to start an HR tournament for all the golfers do you guys already have one?

rskinsfan10 and I saw Ramsey's swing on the news and we both felt we could take him in a tourney. I have to see if we can get invited to the next one.

Was this tourney the Steve Spurrier Classic the past 2 years?

I remember an interview not long ago. Rams said he was never really interested in golf and just recently took it up. He's probably not that good; yet. But I'd bet he has some damn nice sticks.

When you play with the Redskins what are the rules?Do you have 4 downs to get the ball in the hole.On the first play from scrimmage[run from the tee formation-aka...tee shot]do you go deep?Any other unknown rules? Is your favorite player named Mulligan?Good thing they're not the Eagles or you'd lose.

Yeah the best money can buy. I wonder if he's using Nike sticks

You're too funny. Sometimes you get 4 downs, sometimes you get 3 downs and then there's those opportunities when you get 5 downs.
