Hi Everyone! I posted this on another,(gulp!),Redskins page as well...I know it's a stretch, but it driving me crazy! I took a chance and bought a pair of new seats and, if they suck, my beautiful wife, (whom I hope many of you will meet at the HR Tailgate Party), will kill me!!! Thanks, and have a great weekend...since I mainly post at work, (during lunch of course), I may not respond 'til Monday. Thanks, again!!!

Happy Friday! I'm one of those suckers who bought a pair of those seats that the Dan added this year. As most people may know, they stuck 8 rows behind the lower sections,(200's) and under the underhang. I'm in section 214 row 21 and my seats are 27 & 28, which will put me almost into section 215. (The seats go from left to right, with 30 seats in each row.) I know that the overhang will block my view of the scoreboard, but I should be able to see across the field to near the top of the goalposts in the opposite end-zone.. My main concern, is the location of the support beam in that area. In the artists renditions, that the ticket office sent, they don't really illustrate the end-zone corner sections. The ticket-office guy said that a small portion of the end-zone, to my immediate right, should be the only portion of the field obstructed, but he was going by a mock-up of the stadium. The artists renditions also show the support beams inthe center of the sections, but the beams seem to be towards the left side back of the sections, as they get closer to the corners...(confused yet?) Now to my question...(I know it's a long-shot)...if any of you are in 214, 215, or nearby, do you happen to know where the support beam is? I know it's an off the wall question, that will be answered when we go to the Carolina game...but it's driving me nuts! Thanks everyone...have a great weekend!!:

You should be able to go to the redskins seating guide on there website and see a real digital picture view from your seats. If you cnat find it I will send you a link. I don't have it right now and I am at work so I will have to send it from home. Hope you enjoy your seats. OH yeah, I was sitting in that section for ther draft day party and the view was fine the hand rail on the divider just barly blocks (distorts) your view of the scoreboard. I think you will be fine!

Thanks everyone! Good one GeneralDisorder! (though I'm actually the cook..)
I'll try the Redskins seating guide, from the web-site....if it doesn't work for me, I'll let you know WRSK1NS...thanks!

Another question for WRSK1NS....how far back were you sitting in that section? (Your post is giving me hope!) Have a great weekend!

I'm not too sure about this but it looks like you might be okay. 214 isn't too far from the band and we're in the west endzone with the Skins bench to our right. It does indeed look like you'll only have a small portion of the endzone to your right obstructed.

Here is the link to the chart for section 214 they give you a small picture for free but you can enlarge it and even though it is greyed out you can still make out the view pretty well.

Welcome to the house that Jack built, SkinsFan1311...Wherever you sit, come proud and come LOUD. We will revolutionize the term "12th man" this year.

By the way, I often spend time in section 217 - look out for me - I'll be hard to miss. MAKE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!

Hey 1311 ....... Good luck with your seats but just a warning about that picture. It's taken from the first/second row in that section. Your new seats are were added to the back of that section as you know. The line of sight projects that you'll not be able to see about ten +/- feet of the endzone back corner. Not too bad and they'll probably add some kind of overhead TV monitor for those with restricted view to watch too (IF they can't see the "Big Screen").
Look forward to meeting you at hRTG II

Thanks Patrick! I figured that out about the pics...all the ticket brokers show are from the best possible angle...I used to be in 410 and the picture from their is also from row 1....the reality is a big difference, as I was in row 23...look forward to meeting you too!
