a conditional deal to houston. Details are still coming in, but it looks like:
T-Mac
Juwan Howard
for
Stevie Franchise
Kelvin Cato
Cutino Mobley
and something else.
as soon as it becomes clear, ill post it.
also The Clippers traded the #2 pick in the draft(and a european player) to the Bobcats for the #4 and a second rounder.

I think that sounds like a good deal for both teams (Magic/Rockets)

i like the move by the bobcats, but i think francis is a better all alround player than tmac, and i would not make that trade

This qualifies as a blockbuster: two all-stars as well as very good role players involved. I'm not sure of the numbers, but this might allow the Magic to go now and make a move to bring back Shaq. Not good news for Eastern Conference fans.

Francis was rumored to be on the block earlier this year for Iverson, so I wouldn't be surprised if this went down. I would have to disagree with that all around player thought also. T-Mac can run the point if his team needed him to, and he can dominate a game, something that I've yet to see Francis do.

The best thing that I've ever seen Francis do as a pro was his cover on the Mag with Beyonce and the girls of Destiny's Child.

Orlando might have a pretty good team next year:
C: Okafor
PF: Drew Gooden
SF: Pat Garrity
PG: Franchise
SG: Mobley
Houston, on the other hand:
C: Yao
PF: Juwan Howard
SF: Jim Jackson
PG: Mark Jackson?
SG: T-Mac

I know, I was thinking the same thing earlier. Unless there is someone in FA the Rockets are going to be a much worse version of the Lakers, two guys with zero supporting cast and especially no bench. It's a shame really, I thought the Rockets were building something pretty good there. It's not like McGrady will take a back seat to Yao, it will be the same situation there as a year ago. In addition to that, Van Gundy won't take any of McGrady if he doesn't play any defense and runs his mouth in the papers.

They're also giving up Boston Nagbar. They dont have a PG, nor do they have any depth.

If the Rockets can pick up a point guard in the draft, they could have something quite good there....

The Rockets will be nice in the next few years.

Once they get a point gaurd which doesn;t look very promising. Unless......
Arenas for Yao. straight up. Yao would have a great time in china town. He could open a restaurant, and keep 20% of his profit thanks to the Chinese government. But seriously, they should do this trade.

The Clippers trading they're 2nd overall for the Bobcats 4th overall is pretty smart. They know that Shaun Livingston is still gonna be there and it frees up room for a potential free agent. Kobe Bryant maybe??..Steve Nash??

nash is more or less signed sealed and delivered back to Dallas...he loves it here.
