BUT Sammy Baugh was was a 1st round pick out of Texas Christian back in 1937 (the first "Washington Redskins" season), so it's a bit sad he's not in this poll, b/c I would certainly have given him my vote just in front of the great #28. # 33 is still the only official redskins' number retired. I'm fully supporting the #28 official retirement as soon as possible though.

i voted for darrel green because he lasted so long, he is a good man off the field helping kids, he never had a knee operation, i just think that is amazing, he played with a broken forearm once, he ripped his ribs apart jumping over that guy on that punt return and he ran it in for the TD holding his side in that playoff game...i could go on...
