Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins TE Fred Baxter is likely to play on special teams in addition to his role with the team's offense this season.

Washington Redskins TE Fred Baxter is very excited to play in the Redskins' tight end orientated passing attack, reports Gary Fitzgerald of Redskins.com. "I know that Coach Gibbs loves tight ends, so it's great to be here," Baxter said. "Obviously he's a great coach, a Hall of Famer. It's a privilege to play for him. I'm just coming in here to help the team win."

baxter is huge at 6'-3 and 268. the biggest TE we have on the roster. should be a good blocker.

I think pretty much everyone is likely to play on ST with a few obvious exceptions.

He is a monster and hopefully he can help Rasby out as the blocking TE, as for Special Teams I am hoping that some of theyoung LBs can establish themselves.

Good pick-up, hopefully he'll make the team along with our other 10 TEs.
