Hey Gang,

Haven't been here in a while. My computer at home has some type of virus on it. Have no idea what is going on...but I'll work on it this week....Been on vacation, from work that is for the past 8 days. Been missing and thinking about you all I hope all is well. I know I missed alot.

I had a wonderful priviledge to Run the NFL Junior Player Development Camp for the past Two weeks.... I had a great time with the kids... Although JPD is from 12-18, we thought it would be good if we ran a camp for kids 6-10. I had a wonderful time teaching a three point stances, speed and agility drills, passing and catching. Thanks to the Skins for being located where they are. Because some areas don't have a team near them so it's hard to get approveds to be a sponsored JPD camp.

Also I'm mentoring a kid who hasen't had a strong male presence in his life but now that I've been working with him along with his natural abilities, he has just won the Starting Safety spot at a local high school in PG County. So my vacation has been a true blessing

What a wonderful experience GOD has bestowed on me!!

Excellent update Joe. Your mentoring and helping kids out like that is admirable. Now, if we could just get more to do the same, maybe the national fabric would improve a bit.

We've got a winning coach in the Apache Tribe (LavarGreen2856) and now a mentor coach in the Cherokee Tribe ! Talk about Gibbs' influence...

Yes, Joe, Congratulations ! And PSF hit the nail on the head. There are times when a person has to step up and be responsible for the community they live in. Great work and enjoy your Blessings ! :D

Joe, for all of you who give your time to coach kids...I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It is a sacrifice to do this type of thing (I won't call it a job because those who do it, do it from their hearts) and often you get nothing in return except maybe parents yelling at you...anyway, this "soccer-football" Mom thanks you for all that you do..on and off the field!

BTW..that goes out to all the great coaches around here!

i was thinking that as well. way to go joe! these kids out here definitely do need a positive influences in their lives. thanks for doing your part.
