Training Camp

Well my darlings...I flew over redskins Park yesterday on my way home from New Mexico...
"MIKE, THERE'S WHERE THE REDSKINS PLAY" I yelled excitedly, as an air marshall leaped out of row 29B gun drawn...
(Evidently he must have thought we were being highjacked by a crazed, female Skins fan...) Meanwhile, Hubbo took off his headphones and said, "huh?"
as I was being led away, babbling about Gibbs and Bowen....

Anyway here's a link for Training Camp...if it hasn't been done yet...I did a search, didn't really see anything detailed.

I know we're not getting together on FAD but we should start making some plans here soon about which day everyone might go to...my July calendar is already filling up...BTW we can bring food and drinks so maybe we outta have a little pre-tailgate party?

Camp opens on Saturday July 31...I was thinking of heading down that way then.......

I'm taking the whole week off, plus the HOF game day and the day after. I plan on being at camp a couple days during that week...prolly the 4th and 5th. With the alternating morning and afternoon public schedule, I'll either be at the ODB co before or after practice...hmmm, I wonder if beer goggles makes the team look better....

Yeah, most of us that went last year are of that same opinion.

I'm out of town until Tuesday.

We ought to try for Wednesday, August 11th since it's after the Hall Of Fame Game and there's 2 practices that day.

I will be at TC on 8/2 and FAD on 8/7, but might head down for 1 other day too.

I am up for a pre-training camp tailgate, but I think FAD would not be a good day for that.

I'm possibly in for Saturday the 31st, but DEFINITELY in for Friday, August 6th. (The day before FAD. I'm assuming most fans wont' go, since FAD is the next day.)

Keep in mind that on Wed Aug 4th and Friday Aug 6th there is only 1 practice that day and it's at 9:00 AM

With all due respect, I love FAD. Frankly, I love any day that is dedicated to the Redskins - whether it is hot, humid, muggy, crowded, etc...Sure, it's commercialized and it isnt THAT exciting...but this year it will be a great prelude to the game that will be played 2 days later.

I will be there in full SuperSkin regalia, as always. Hope to see all of you there - dont be afraid to say Hello and identify yourself as an HR member!

I'm seriously thinking of taking my boys down to see the camp on the 31st of July for the first time...I hope to meet some of you....don't think I can make Fan Appreciation Day. But I will try......
