Merril Hoge lists Redskins as team to beat now because of the addition of Portis. At least ONE of the ESPN guys thinks we're a good team.

Hoge always picks teams with good RBs. That much you can count on. That said, I like that about him because so many analysts want high powered offenses whereas people like Hoge like to grind it out and beat people in the mouth.

IMHO, he automatically moved up the "most preferred nations" list by endorsing the Skins as the team to beat in the East. I always knew he was smart, his numerous concussions and overuse of "factor back" aside.
