Want to bet? :)

Just reviewed your schedule .... NO!........... Way too soft in the beginning and I agree that they'll only have one lost going into the MD game (two after that one though). Would love to see the Cavs knock off the Canes though!

The UVA vs. MD game should be a good one this year.

The ACC will be a tough division to win this year. Should make for exciting games in November.

UVA has some great defenders like ahmad brooks and blackstock, but without shaub they could have some trouble on offense. Do they still have the guy they tried as a punt returner? i remember that he played qb for a while freshman year.

psssshhh. rivers never beat the terps, and your "great" running back t.a. mclendon cant hold on to the ball when he's ambushed. At least the games against you guys are entertaining untill the end. When we play WVU it gets old by the end of the first quarter because its allready a 20+ point lead at that point.

These rankings are horrible. No way one conference has 7 teams end up in the top 25 - they beat up on each other too much.

By the way I'll take my Hokies ahead of GT, State, Clemson in the final ACC rankings.

Clemson's schedule is brutal. VT gets UVA, MD, NC State all at home and doesn't have to play FSU or Clemson this year. I'll take VT's chances at Lane Stadium - based on atmosphere and 12th man it just became the new #1 toughest place to play in the ACC.

How did I know you'd be the only to reply to post? ;)

Slightly political note-Did you hear where Dean Smith slid into the John Edwards Rally at N.C.State last week to show his support?:D

Watch out for Nebraska. Gonna be good this year, downright dangerous from then on out. Having them at #40 when the Blackshirts are easily in the top 10 nationally is an insult.

Go UVA

Hagans doesn't need to be Schab, all he needs to do is hand the ball of to Lundy and dump it off to Miller, the D will do the rest.

When we play WVU it gets old by the end of the first quarter because its allready a 20+ point lead at that point.Rivers is gone but we have a kid we redshirted last year that is supposedly more talented...we will see. As for TA we have a guy coming from Greenville-Rose HS about 30 minutes from me that may just make us say TA who? And then theres the nationally ranked DE we snagged from FLA ....we will be fine. And I dont think the terps have finished that much better than us in the ACC the last couple of years. As always it will be settled on the field look forward to chatting about it this fall.

This has to be the year West Virginia goes from being a nice little Big East team to a BCS-level powerhouse.

This is what I like to hear. Hopefully the whole being dominated by MD thing goes away this year.

After their performance against USC last Saturday, I predict that VT will be the first team to break into the top 25 after losing the first game of the season! Go Hokies!

Miami has the conference wrapped up already. Florida State will do nothing with Chris Rix as their quarterback. NC State and Virginia will suffer from post-Rivers and post-Shaub syndrome, respectively. VATech has a suspect offense, although an experienced senior quarterback is always a helpful thing to have. Maryland will be long out of the top 25 before they play their first conference game. Bottomline: RESPECT THE U
