CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Virginia will be without its top returning wide receiver this year, coach Al Groh told The Roanoke Times on Friday.

Ottowa Anderson, whose 33 receptions last season were the most among players eligible to return this year, has unresolved off-the-field issues, Groh told the newspaper.

Anderson, 6-foot-1, started 13 games last season as a junior. He has never taken a redshirt year, so he could return for 2005. -- ASSOCIATED PRESS
Tough break for the Cavs. But, from what I've read about the Cavs, it shouldn't hurt their chances this year.

They still have their top receiver in Heath Miller.

I feel bad for them...I really do..................................

not.

As was mentioned 90% of their offense went through the tight end anyway.

You think he will be as good as his brother once he gets to the NFL?

With Shaub gone they better worry about the QB position. The guys filling in last year were horrible.

Have to agree but Maryland is in the somewhat the same situation. It will come down to who'll be able to find a QB AND0 can take on leadership role. ..... A Strong arm and able to run out of the pocket would be nice too!

Hagans, the starting QB right now, only needs to hand the ball off the Lundy, and dump it to miller, then let the D handle the rest of the game

They have a stacked squad this year so it should not be a big deal.
