Wow what an awesome outing from Miguel Tejada in the Homerun Derby. 15 homeruns in Round 2 (a record) and the most homeruns ever in a derby. Pretty sweet! :Pickle: I never thought that with all those huge sluggers, Tejada would be the one to win it.

at least he and Palmeiro did the O's proud.. can't say the same for the rest of the underachieving, nonchalant pine grabbers.

I didn't know my 11 year old son would be pitching to Tejada for the home run derby!

Actually Tejada was getting thrown to a lot harder than the others. It was no Randy Johnson fastball, but it wasn't what Bonds and Berkman were seeing.

Pretty sweet, way to represent! I think each player picks their own pitcher and they can strategize with them about how they want to be pitched. I wouldn't mind seeing the final round changed to alternate (like every 3 outs or so).

That would've been cool to have an O's final though, but Raffy couldn't handle the 2nd round.

Anyway - congrats to Tejada.

Since each player was allowed to have his own pitcher, clearly Miggy had an egde since he could pick from any number of guys on his own staff. :D

No but it was very easy to tell that Tejada was getting thrown to noticabley harder.
