Yeah I plan on getting this game this year because I didn't know that you can transfer the rosters from this game over to the Madden draft. Sounds pretty sweet.

You didn't know that? You could do it with '04 too. Thats why when you finish a season it asks you if you want to continue to the offseason, or not, or import draft class.

March Madness is pretty cool. I like playing it because I have a friend that plays for Dayton, I score like 40 with him a game.

Yes this game is awesome, but Madden is still a little ahead of it. I hate how inaccurate my passer is but its workable. Fun stuff.

You won't regret it, unless you plan on playing Dynasty with a Division-1AA Team. Then I wish you all the luck...

On another note, the QB from my high school that just graduated is in the game. James Madisson (1-AA) QB #14, 5'11'' 180 lbs, Red Shirt Freshman, 44 OVR (lol he's a LITTLE better than that in real life).

Well I got the game and started a dynasty with WVU, and won my first two games. Unfortunately they were both won on hail marys that I threw up on the last play of the game...against ECU and UCF...teams I should have beaten by 20.

Yeah and having to deal with missdeameanors and ****. Plus I love how your players progress gradually during the season. Marcus Vick starts out at an 86 and after 8 games and only playing 10 snaps, he's up to an 89 by just watching and learning. Great game, I'm 8-0 with VT right now and #2 in the country :).

I went out and rented it (to tide me over until madden) and I like it quite a bit. I'm still getting the new recruiting down, which seems a bit sketchy (although probation doesn't help). I will probably buy it at some time as I need draft classes to populate my Madden Franchise.

Yeah SP2 is great. I'm playing that and this to hold me over until Madden. I'm right now 11-0 with VT and still #2 in the country (damn AUBURN), with only #6 Miami standing in my way for the final game.

Yeah, my boy has it and I played it for the first time in life, the other day. He had the Georgia Bulldogs (ranked #4) and I had my beloved Oklahoma Sooners (ranked #2). I beat him 14-0.......which was a joy for me, since I have never played NCAA football before and he has.

It took me one entire half to figure out how to run the option and do some other stuff. Also, we played on his playstation 2........and I'm an XBOX man. I was at a severe disadvantage, but pulled out the victory.

By the way, is there "playmaker" control? I was trying it all game, to no avail. I still like Madden better, but this one is decent.

Hey you no what is sooo messed up and got me so friggin pissed today?? I went to Video Warehouse a couple days ago just to look around and get a movie, then I remembered NCAA football 2005. I asked the guy in the front and he said they didn't have it and he didn't know when it was comin out. So then I just got Welcome to Mooseport. It was ok. Then I went back to Video Warehouse again today. I was lookin around and couldn't find anything. Then I went to the PS2 section even though I have XBOX. And I saw NCAA football 2005 sitting there right it front of me.... For PS2.... Then I went to the XBOX section and they didn't have it. I double checked and everything. Then I walked over to the Gamecube section. I looked around and saw NCAA football 2004 but '05 wasn't next to it. And I thought to myself, "I guess they only have it for PS2." Then I looked around for some movies, and couldn't find any good ones. Then I went back to the video games and looked at the Gamecube section. They had NCAA fball '05 somewhere away from '04. It is in alphabetical order so I thought it would be next to it. Then I went back to the XBOX section kinda excited cuz I thought they might've just put it somewhere else. I looked around. They didn't have it. It really sucked. I'll try next week though. I ended up getting 50 First Dates. It's ok, but I'm 100% positive it's not as good as the game.

I'm mad because they never release NCAA for PC. Every college student has a PC or Mac, but not nearly as many have a PS2/Xbox. If they did that, then I would buy it. Since they don't I will just play with my friends who have PS2s.

Are there any decent PS2 emulators? I have used NES and Sega Genesis emulators before, but I haven't seen any for PS2. And can a PS2 game play in a normal dvd drive, or would I just have to get the ROM.

Also, I hate that the receivers suck, all i can do is option, and run, everytime i threw, the receiver drops it.

USC, Florida State, and Oklahoma are the best teams in the game, but Texas, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and a few other colleges are still rated pretty nice.

Try lobbing the ball, thats what I started doing and my receivers started catching passes. I've got WVU ranked 8th in the coaches poll, but 12th in the media.

since the receivers suck so much in this game, if you run a lot and play action for some reason your receivers get really good and can even make catches in traffic, it's weird.

This is ridiculous...In 8 years as head coach of Oregon State I went like 102-8 with 5 national championships and my coach prestige wasnt even all the way up, I was only 5 stars instead of having all six stars

also, is there any way you can improve your home field advantage?? if you try to build a program from the ground up and they have a lousy crowd it seems like theres no way you can make the crowd more rowdier, like i make oregon state into a dynasty and all I got from there crowd was like 5 of those crowd meter marks

hey online ballers, i love to play online but i am really getting frustrated with the quitters. has anyone else noticed problems with people quitting? sometimes a player will quit on you and you get the loss even if you play out the rest against the computer.
monday i was winning a game 28-0 in the second qtr, when the guy offers a friendly quit (meaning the game doesn't count). why would i not want it to count? so i say no and he quits. so i start another game with another fella and go up by 17, and HE quits too. To make matters worse, now MY stats show a bunch of "Did Not Finish" games, making it seem like I am one of the quitters.
IMHO, EA sports should have it set up so that if someone pulls the plug/quits then they get the loss (no matter what the score).

yea they started that this year in dynasty mode, i believe. i just bought it as well so i can transfer to madden when that comes out!

You know how when you finish a season in NCAA football it asks you if you wanna import the draft class? Yeah, well say yes. If you do that, then all the seniors and juniors that are leaving college for the pro's will be saved in your memory card/hard disc. Then when you finish a season in Madden it asks you if you wanna import a draft class. Say yes and load the draft class you saved.

I normally only get Madden, but this time i wanted NCAA 2005 so i could upload the class to Madden!!
