Do not agree with him but hey, that's just me. I really feel he's missed the mark as far as Maryland is concerned but on the flip side of that - the pressure is NOT on the Terps. I love seeing all those other ACC schools ahead of them because we all know they will fall. Do EVERY year! ....... It's going to be a great season though.

That can be said of wake as they always disappoint come March but Tech was in the FF last year and outside of the small stretch of years when the Heels were down they always made deep runs into march. What's funny is outside of '01-'03 the same accusations you make of other teams can be said of Maryland. how many years did they ahve good teams and never even made a regional Final until '01. The terps will be a good team but they aren't as good as the top 3 in the ACC.

Kentucky ought to be a little higher. We have a bunch of inexperience, but with Hayes and Azubuike we have leadership. And he forgot about Patrick Sparks who transferred and redshirted last year. He'll be a senior and the reports are that last year in practice he was the best defender on the floor (which is solid considering we had one of the best defensive teams last year). It's okay, we're always a little underrated.
I think UNC and Ga Tech are a bit overrated here. Unless Sean May has developed a nasty streak, he's still going to be a pushover inside. Someone his size ought to dominate.
I'm also not sure why Florida is anywhere near the top 25. They are the biggest set of losers I have ever seen. They are certainly a talented team, but they have no drive or heart and are losers in the truest sense of the word.

With incoming freshman Marvin Williams, teams won't be able to push us around like they have. It'll also allow R. Williams to move May away from under the basket.
UNC will surprise some theams this year...
