Glad to know nothing has changed with those clowns. Two outs and A-Rod, the guy who had a big hand in last night's defeat, gets plunked and Varitek starts a fight with him so he gets tossed. Their ridiculous appearances aside, these guys have no class.

because Roger Clemens and Petitte never hit anyone intentionally, and the Yankees dont throw at people this year also. Please. If it was Pedro, I would be with you, but Arroyo? Cmon.

When did Pettitte hit anyone? Mussina is known for NOT hitting people. Who on the Yanks hits people? The Sox pitchers have hit 63 guys this year to the Yanks hitting 31. I'm no mathematician but I think more than twice as many is quite a bit.

i dislike the Yanks more than the Sox but Varitek started this ruckus.. A-Rod said some words toward Arroyo but not in a fighting manner.. then Varitek said some choice words to ARod and that's when he said "F-You" to him a couple times b4 Varitek sucker-pushed him w/ his catcher's mask still on.. pretty classless on his part. Sturtze had Kapler by the neck but when Ortiz came they were both going off on him.. Ortiz missed a punch while Kapler got some good shots in making him bleed on the side of his face/ear. either way classless by the BoSox.. but hey.. they've been losing for 85+ years to the Yanks so the built up frustartion is understandable.

But Sturzte paid his price. He was gettin jumped by three Sox. And A-Rod told him a little more. You could tell what he said.

Wells hit exactly 20 in four years. That's a 5 a year average. Clemens is Clemens but he hit 36 in five years. His most was 10, which is Pedro's career average. Arroyo has hit 14 this year and Pedro has hit 9 already. The Red Sox have hit five more than the next team and lead the majors. The Yankees are 21st out of 30 teams.

I think pitchers like Clemens act on their own and plenty of guys play by the unwritten rules of "evening the score". I do not think that Torre and plenty of other managers order their guys to hit people.

after i saw this display by the red sox (I have no team, Im a Washington DC fan and currently we have no basball team) I just began to root for the yankees and hoped the red sox would lose. last year game 7 of the ALCS I rooted for the sox and got really pissed when the yankees won, but the red sox just did something that was just unnecessary and I just hope they dont even make the playoffs this season, go As in the playoffs.....Disgrutled Orioles fan here that is getting pissed off by angelos and his antics...bring a team to DC

all I can say is if my boys lose this game, that's gonna be a big blow to our pitching staff because after the horrendous first inning they have been playing pretty well defensively.
