Ok, well I know Ricky Williams FOR SURE will be IN the game, while I doubt that George will be a Cowboy. Why? The game went Gold like a week ago, meaning it's sent to the factories to start being produced.

If not when the game ships, EA will release updated rosters that are correct when the season starts.

Of course, thats for PC, you console people might have to do it manually.

Well sucks for the gamecube users, but PS2 Owners with the Network Adapter or Xbox Live people can do it too.

Yeah George will probably be either a free agent or on the Titans and Ricky will most definately be in the game. You'll probably be able to download the updated rosters though.

I don't know about that, has the game even gone gold yet? If not then they should be able to move those players around.

I don't think Williams will be in the game. They might have gone gold, but it's all in pre-sales. The reason they wait until mid August to put the game out is to make last minute roster adjustments. I think last year they had rosters correct up until August 1. It takes no time at all to print those discs. I doubt they have started cranking them out just yet.

I bet the game is actually in the middle to the end of production in the factories, it's too late to change things now. I'd bet the house that Ricky Williams is in the game, but there will be roster updates immediately I'm sure.

I agree. When a game goes "gold", it means that its shipped to the factories to start production, and the game has already started that by the looks of it. George should be a Titan and Williams will most likely be in the game, but I bet EA will have a roster update downloadable by august 12th (the release date).
