Two short pieces, one from passing camp and one on Brandon Noble. They say that Noble is slated to start, it would be an incredible comeback if this is true.

Hmmm. I think this will be an underrated battle. People have talke dabout the battle for backing up Portis, the battle for the third WR slot, and the battle for starting QB, but DT coudl become one of the most intense battles. Jermain Haley, Brandon Noble, and Joe Salavea'a are all going to battle for that coveted starting slot. Hopefully the fierce competition will make them all better.

well, we know that the best man(that we have) will win the spot. im not sure that noble is ready. i think they should put him on the PUP list. then again, who else will play? i think that noble is our 2nd best DT, and then after that, there isnt much. i guess we'll have to hope for jermaine haley to be able to come back from his own injury.

I think people are under-estimating joe salavea. listed at 6'-3 and 305, he's not a giant, but he's not a shrimp either. i have read some good things about him...it seems whenever his name comes up, its all good.

Huh? Why should they put him on the PUP list? Have you seem him play this summer?

i dont see any reason to rush noble into the starting line up by week one, but it is good to hear he is recovering well.

I agree. I'd hate to rush this guy into action, only to have him suffer another horrible injury. I think he'll show promise in limited action this year, and, hopefully, he'll be a beast next year. But I put my trust in Williams... if he thinks Noble is ready, then I believe he's ready.

any way you look at it, noble should be an inspiration to the whole team for his hard work rehabbing from that gruesome injury.
