If you have Field Pass on NFL.Com, please take a couple of minutes and go too NFL.Com and watch the highlights of the Denver Broncos season. You will see about a minute of Clinton Portis. All I can say is we have got ourselves the real deal. His three long TD runs against the Chiefs are a demonstration of quick feet, awesome moves and unbelievable speed. Wondering still about the trade, well I am convinced.

You can access at the front page by clicking on the Washington Redskins Video. This will open Real Player which lists all the different team highlights of 2003.

If you can it is a must.

Sorry I cannot provide a direct link.

here's clips from 2 of the Broncos games last year in which Portis is running wild.. 5-6 runs vs. Oakland and his Broncos team record 5TD runs (218yards) vs. K.C.

He loves that spin move. Looking for a goal line back, give it to Portis, he will get you those one yard TD's.

a lot of ppl think Portis can't break tackles and that he's just a straight away speed demon. he shows, especially in the Oakland game that he can certainly grind it through the middle and break tackles.. even when being tackled he's still lunging forward for extra yards. if he's only running rampant w/ out being touched than that still leaves questions.. but the runs he makes while having defender's hands on him tells me he's a tough runner. he had 34 rushes in that game vs. Raiders.. he also had 38 carries vs. Browns in December. he will carry the load.

I did that right after I heard about the trade. He's an amazing runner. His lateral movement is incredible.

I had him in fantasy leagues the past two years, and watched him a lot...not to mention some of his games as a hurricane...What impresses me most is that he hits the hole very quickly yet still has enough balance/body control to make a cut or slither through a tackle...a lot of guys that hit the hole quickly can't make that kind of adjustment because they are sort of falling forward -- Stephen Davis comes to mind. But, having watched him (assuming he stays healthy), I'd be surprised if he didn't put up at least 1400 yards rushing. He played in 13 games last year, and in 2 of those he played less than a half due to his injured ribs, and still had over 1900 combined yards.
