i like 37 better than 36.. dunno the exact reason why he changed it.. maybe he thought he looked fat in circular #s like 36 and went w/ the shiftier looking '7..
The 6-2, 231-pound free safety, who switched to uniform No. 37 on Tuesday after wearing No. 36 during off-season mini-camps, will bring a combination of size, speed and strength to the Redskins defense, as well as his abilities as a playmaker and intimidator in the secondary

Now I have a completely useless Create your own Jersey from NFL.Shop that says Taylor #36. Am I ever going to have any luck buying a Jersey? Last year I bought a Champ Jersey. What the hell am I going too do now?

You're not alone I guess. Fortunately I decided to wait before purchasing a jersey...I prefered #36 too, but #37 will be ok if he performs with it and, yes, bring back the legend !

i feel you. just dont start naming your pets after them like i did. a cat named desmond, who died a slow painful, horrible death from some rare disease, dog named shuler, who left to hang out next door at the neighbors like a traitor and comes around once in a while for some food...the new cats are Tom, Slim and Shady. dogs are Rex and Jack. i'm keeping it simple, no more redskins. i briefly considered Patrick, or Ramsey, but didnt want to put the jinx on anything.

that cant be good. however i still might name my next kid Joe Gibbs, if i ever have another one. i thought the number 36 was cool for taylor because it was kind of like arrington's 56.

maybe the key is to wait until the player/coach is retired....
anyway, i am ok with 37 b/c i usually creat myself as a safety and wear #27... not there isn't much room in the secondary... i might have to play special teams on kick coverage.

Sell it on eBay to someone who hasnt heard the news yet. If they arent a member of this site, chances are they dont bleed the burgundy and gold and wont have a clue.

You know, Taylor switching numbers does kind of break the string of "6" numbers being used by some pretty decent players.
26 Portis
36 ?
46 Betts
56 Arrington
66 Dockery
76 Jansen
86 Rasby
96 Griffin
Too bad Justin Skaggs (16) never caught on and Shane Matthews (6) was cut, eh?
