Ok, i know this is dumb, but if you are in the "gaming" forum, but i hope you can bear with me...

every year i buy madden, and once camp ends i start a season with the redskins. for the past at least 5-6 years, i create myself as either a safety or nickel corner. however with the additions of sean taylor and walt harris, i wouldn't really get any playing time other than maybe a little on kick coverage teams. should i play another position? i guess i could be a back-up DE used as a pass rush specialist which would fill a need... it is stupid i know, but i always played WR/TE or DB and i just think we are too deep at those positions that it would be overkill.

or you could just create yourself as some kind of superguy and play wherever you want

i used to do that when our teams were awful (under norv) but if i like the starters, i just want to be a role player...

If you want to be a role guy I'd be either another linebacker or a 3rd down pass rusher. Or how about an OLineman?

LMAO!!! i thought about lineman, but there is no way in real life i'd ever want to bulk-up that much... i am leaning towards back-up DE or LB... thanks! i guess i am going to be relegated to special teams duty... we're just too good.

Be the third down back. Backup DE would be good. being a corner wouldn't be bad because Springs is gonna get hurt anyway.

Just don't create yourself. I stopped once '04 came out.

yeah, me too. I find that I got carried away and would make myself unstoppable and that just defeats the purpose of a challenging game. I prefer to challenge myself cause you feel that much better about winning when you do.

i guess i'll be a reserve DE wearing #92 (the last year gibbs coached). i prefer the challenging games, but i get really mad when i lose. i lost to the stellers last night 17-10 and my dog left the room b/c i was syelling at the TV.

thankfully i came back and routed the cowboys 48-17. it was tied 10-10 at the half before arrington knocked carter out on a play that looked exactly like dexter manley's hit on danny white... it was awesome! after that testaverde threw four picks and it was over!

video games are the perfect holdover for the anticipation of the season.

I never lose in Madden. Except when I first started playing on All-Madden. Then I got used to it and did really well.

i'm so used to madden that i am losing in NFL 2k5... the biggest thing is i still hit "x" to swithch to the nearest defender and in that game it is "o"...

i play a custom level madden where i usually win... i don't often get to play human opponents so i don't learn the glitch plays and people who know them can beat him. other than that, i hold my own.
