the man that gave a stiff elbow to Garnett and led the league in 3Pt. % last year.. good veteran and pickup..

“Anthony Peeler is an established veteran and a very solid player,” said Grunfeld. “He is a proven perimeter shooter, a hard-nosed defender, and brings significant playoff experience to our young roster.”

The 6-4, 208 pound guard, has averaged 10.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists over his 12 year NBA career, shooting 38% from three point range and has appeared in 50 playoff games. Last season, Peeler led the NBA in three point shooting with a .482 average.

WOW that is a pretty good pickup. Peeler is a great player. But don't we have enough guards?

not really.. this move is basically to offset losing Stackhouse since Jamison only replaces one of the spots voided by losing Stack and Christian. we need a 3 point specialist and a spark off the bench from the Guard spot. i don't think the team is sold on J. Dixon just yet so i see a bench of E. Thomas, J. Jeffries, J. Hayes, A. Peeler and S. Blake. now THAT is a great bench! .. we just might be decent this year... hopefully..

Hey - attracting any free agents to Washington is a good thing. Hopefully this gets the team moving in the right direction.

I love them but I still don't see them as a playoff team.

Peeler is a great three-point shooter, but he's also a good defender. The Kings often used him on Kobe Bryant, even when they also had Doug Christie on the floor. The Bullets are also looking for a stable veteran presence. The team is so young they don't really have that. Until now.

Yeah who is the oldest player besides Peeler and Jamison?

Mitchell Butler is 33, but he might not be on the team next year. Jamison is 28. The team needs a veteran or two.

How much will Peeler play? I assume this is gonna take major minutes away from dixon and hayes because peelers better than they are, isnt he?
