That dude better take the money and run. He may have just been lucky that first time.

“I think people may doubt my victory so I would like to give Mike another beating,” Williams said. “I’d like to fight him one more time to show it wasn’t a fluke. I’d love for the fight to be in London and it would be nice to give the British fans something by beating him up even worse next time.”
Damn! Wanna talk about no respect, not to say that Tyson deserves it.

Tyson deserves another fight, he was severly injured in the first one that hindered his punching. If I was Williams, I wouldn't consider that fight a win. Good thing he's giving him a rematch.

I agree. It's my understanding that Mike could have gotten up when he was being counted out, but the speculation is his knee was hurting him so badly, he simply decided that was enough.

Tyson was never THAT good in the first place, you could always grind it out with him as long as u get past the 5th round, hes no Liston, hes no Ali and hes no Frazier

Prove it. There is no way to do so because in Tyson's prime no one got that far.

Tyson is an idiot and I hope he wins the lottery so he just disappears for a while or atleast until he blows all his money again.

Some of you guys are just incredible. What do you guys expect Danny Williams to say, his victory was being written off the minute he left the building on Friday. We all know Tyson has been in decline but it is said that the last thing a boxer loses is his punch. Tyson hit Williams hard, very hard but Williams took it and showed guts and stamina and KO'd Tyson. What is missing from the article, is Williams how torn beating Tyson made him feel. On one hand he was elated at victory, but felt very uneasy in beating his absolute hero.
When it comes too boxing as far as many Americans feel, if the boxer is not American he is no good. You would much rather support a Mike Tyson than a Lennox Lewis, even though Lewis always acted with class and never ducked one opponent ever. He had his flaws. Was overly cautious and scrapes into the top ten all time, but compared to Tyson was never less than a class act.
If Danny Williams had been American he would have got far more credit than he did.

That is a pretty big condition there.

Of all the fights out there for him, a Tyson re-match is probably the biggest payday anyway. So it isn't that surprising that would be willing to fight Tyson again.

Actually I didn't know Williams was even British until someone mentioned it on here. I've never heard of Williams at all for that matter. Tyson stopped pounding Williams after the first because he could barely step, severly hindering his right punch. Boxing as a whole sucks, we need an individual to hype it up and become a superstar. Mike Tyson is probably the only boxer that everybody in the world knows. My mom doesn't have a clue who Lennox Lewis is, but she definatley knows who Tyson is. I'm not saying that Lennox Lewis is a bad fighter, he beat most of the people they put in front of him, and thats all you can ask from him. Tyson is a joke, but he's all boxing has.

you know, I think that's sad but I think you're right about the fact that Tyson is probably the most recognized name in boxing NOW besides our past great champions.
