Very enjoyable article Mark, thanks for the effort. There is indeed much too be excited about. I think our D will rest or fall on the play of the line. If it does not make mistakes and give up a truckload of yards we have a good year in prospect. Your observations on the running game are spot on. It is time for Ladell Betts to step up.

Good job Mark. There is no doubt in my mind that the D-line will have everyone holding thier breath this year. ..... I still feel this is whats going to be the most frustrating unit to watch. Man, I hope one or two step up for a career year.

Figured I would not dwell on QB at all, simply because we have heard enough about this battle.

Now that i think about it, I wish i would have covered a little bit about special teams slots, like John Simon, McCullough, Scott, Russell, this is where these guys can stand out and make a roster spot. I know most of us did not liek him, But David Terrell played well on special teams last season and someone needs to step up in that place.
