How EXCITED am I!!!!???

My mom just got me tickets to the Skins/Eagles game December 12!!!!!

The stories about how abusive their fans have been are well in the front of my mind and I will be there ALL day protecting home field with my fellow fans... I know a lot of you guys have season tickets so it may seem silly, but for those of us who do not get to go very often, this is an undescribable feeling!

Congrats, Buddy. Just remember, the best way to send Iggle and Cowgirl fans home with their tail between their legs is to be loud and proud, but CLASSY. We dont need to sink to their level - never have, never will. We use our energy to pump up our Redskins Family, not to put down those less fortunate than us (i.e. opposing fans). Gibbs has our back, and I have a feeling that the scoreboard wont allow these creeps to say much this year. Have fun, and say hi if you see me.

While I could not agree with you more, I certainly could not stand idly by and watch some of the things that I read happened two years ago. The story (in the WP) about the drunk male Iggles fan who decked a female Redskins fan and ran made me VERY angry. I am a very peaceful person and I don't drink at sporting events... I just don't see why those filthy waste of human life trash iggles were allowed to do some of those things. Where was security or the police??? I couldn't sit back and do nothing if I saw drunk Iggle jerks starting a brawl.

Thanks!!! I definitely jumped on the Panther bandwagon once the playoffs started b/c I thought they were good enough to beat the Iggles!!! The Panthers are a first rate organization and hopefully they'll be out to remind people that they are the defending NFC champs not the iggles.

As for the Skins, to be the best you have to beat the best so I'm looking forward to testing our progress against the Panthers.

We are having a huge viewing party in Uptown Charlotte for Saturdays game in the off chance anyone on this board is located here. You will find our members are extremely fun and knowledgable, should be great brew specials also which is a plus. ;)

Did you guys enjoy the thumping we gave Dallas in the playoffs? :sfight:

Just for the record I am guesstimating that this will be my 10th game or so (I need to sit and figure that out), and the excitement never wears off. I'm also going to the home opener and I am hoping to meet a lot of you there. I didn't buy tickets to the tailgate b/c we'll be inside the stadium getting pics of Gibbs leading the team out for warmups. that is going to be a great day as well!!!! I just didn't expect the free tickets to comethrough this season and POW! My mom pulled the strings!!! She is definitely the best an it has nothing to do with Skins tickets!!!

I definitely understand. My very first, and only, game was last year. I had watched every game each year on TV until last year my boss gave me tickets to the monday night eagles game. I took my father. Although we got beat it was a wonderful experience.
You're right about the fans. There were about 7 fights that broke out near me. Two philly fans were escorted from the stadium and two different times and there was this one guy who had a philly blanket and continuously ran up and down the aisle with it waving behind him. Made me wish I had an aisle seat so I could trip him. There was also a philly fan in front of me who would stand up and turn around, blocking the view, every time philly moved the ball an inch.
I'm sure you'll have a blast and I hopefully we'll win that game.

I'll be there too. My brother and I split our season tickets. I get Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Philly and Minnesota. All home games are gonna be great this year.

i had a choice between giants, iggles, and vikings, but i took the eagles tickets to 1) prevent them from going to an iggle fan (the company does a lot of business in DE/PA) and 2) hope that a dec game against philly could be for the division...

oh and my brother wants to go see the dolphins/ravens jan 2 (when we play the vikings)...

absolutely, but the iggle game stands out more for me b/c i thought all along you would beat dallass and the fans here were not taking the panther seriously at all. I live in their media area so it was awful how evil they were being towards the panthers, their fans, and the city of charlotte.

words can not express how grateful i am for the panthers causing all that pain and misery.
