Basically just post a recap of how your year goes in madden franchise mode. You might be intrested in reading mine, and I would be intrested in reading yours.
(year 1)
I had a rough preseason losing Jansen and Wynn to season ending injurys. I started Kenyetta Jones in the regular season and picked up Joe Johnson to replace Wynn.
After some narrow wins, 3 in overtime we went 16-0 for the season. One game against dallas was 14-7 going into the 4th and was 38-38 at the end of the fourth, we won it with a 60 yard kick from hall.
It was a record breaking seaon, Springs returned a 106 yard INT for a TD, Portis had the most rushing touchdowns for a season (30 something) and
Hall kicked a 64 yard FG in the opening game (there was 10mph wind, but hey, it counts).
We won the first playoff game in a sweep and squeaked by in overtime for the second playoff game. We won the Superbowl 20 - 10 against the Patriots.
Off-season starts and I have to keep with the snyder big splash tradition, I trade away Iffy, Lott, Kenyetta, Samuels to get 2 1st round picks and John Lynch.
I drafted LT Marcus Taylor, RT Josh Ingram, MLB Ken Johnson.
Taylor starts in place of Samuels, Johnson looks very good to replace Barrow when he retires, Ingram is just a young backup for Jansen.
Brunell started all but 2 games from a sprained knee. He was reconized as an NFL Icon at the end of the season. Barrow and Thomas had huge years and they were also reconized as Icons.
(Icons)
Sean Springs
Micheal Barrow
Clinton Portis
Lavar Arrington
Randy Thomas
Laveraneus Coles
Mark Brunell
John Lynch
A very, very good year. With all those wins Gibbs has a 70% winning record.

Its on All-Pro, the sliders for the CPU are at 1/2, there tackle slider is at about 1/3 and my RB ability slider is about 3/4 all my other sliders are at 1/2. The games are hard when I play, but I simulated or watched about half of them.

im like 8-1 right now on all-pro with default sliders. Portis and Dillon are neck-in-neck for the rushing title, both with over 1,000 rush yards already. But since my online league started, im not playing much franchise.

i cant play a franchise and go undefeated. i think it is sooooo stupid. i finished my 1st year 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

(year 2)
After the first game Ramsey started complaining because he wasn't starting. So I went to the trade block and sent him to the Cardinals and Picked up John Navarre and there 1st round pick (turned out to be about the 8th overall).
I played 3 games in this season, lost one of those to the panthers 24-0. The rest were simmed, went 15-1 for the regular season.
Portis had 2297 rushing yards on 451 attempts (5.0 avg), beat the 2100 yard season Ladainian Tomlinson had on the first season I ran in this madden. The biggest win came on the chargers in a simmed game, 38-7.
(stats)
We had the least passing yards at 1843, chargers were 2nd at 1865. Colts had the most at 3623
We had the most rushing yards at 3118, packers were 2nd at 2364. Raiders had the least at 1243
We had the highest point per game average at 28.3, packers were 2nd at 26.8
We had the most rushing touchdowns at 38, packers were 2nd at 22
We allowed the fewest sacks at 22, jaguars were second with 34
We allowed only 1108 rushing yards all season, titans were 2nd at 1425
Our turnover difference was the best at +20, seahawks had +18
Defence was ranked 1st, offence was ranked 9th
(playoffs - simulated)
Carolina beat the eagles 13-6 in the wild card to play us in the divisional game.
We beat Carolina 30-0 in that one.
We faced the seahawks in the conference game and won 27-12.
Superbowl against the Steelers, lost 26-6. Looks like Portis was injured, had 11 attempts while Betts had 19, and we turned over once.
(pro bowl players)
Randy Thomas
Lavar Arrington
Clinton Portis
Rock Cartwright
Jon Jansen
Shawn Springs
Cory Raymer
Derrick Dockery
Cornelius Griffin
(awards)
Clinton Portis - Off. Player of the Year, RB of the Year
Jon Jansen - OL of the Year (Thomas and Raymer were 2 and 3 for this)
(offseason)
Tom Tupa retired.
2.06m Cap Penalty
Betts did not want to resign, released.
Rod Gardner traded for the overall 11th pick in the draft.
Signed Rock Cartwright to a 6 year 18.15m deal.
Drafted a scrambling QB and a DT in the first round, 9th and 11th overall.
Drafted some others in the later rounds, HB (betts is gone), SS (lynch is 13 years pro), P (needed one)
Released Navarre and some others, 3.49m cap room after the penalty.
Team looks good.

Jesus, y'all play on All-Pro and fiddle with the bars? Try taking it on in All-Madden with the bars untouched. I've been hovering around .500 the whole season (halfway through it now at 4-4).

I'm in year 2 right now. Started over. Simmed first year but traded Brunell and Gardner for 1st rounders. We went 6-10, not many awards. Portis, Rock, Thomas, Springs all pro-bowlers. Released Iffy, resigned Smoot to a long term deal. After trading Brunell and Gardner I had a 9 mil cap penalty.
Draft:
1 (1): Mike Williams, WR USC
1 (3): Marcus Spears, DE LSU
1 (9): C.J. Brooks, LG Maryland
2 (9): some CB that turned out to be a 79 but I didn't have the cap to sign him
Only other pick that signed: 5 (9) Jerome Carter, SS FSU (he's the starter now that Iffy didn't wanna stay)

I completly re-wrote our roster because i play very detailed oreinted D and O. Essentially after all was said and done i think i had 12 remaining Starters on both sides of the ball. I traded Brunell and Ramsey and every other quasi-star player for 1st Round Picks next year, we ended up winning 4 games (I simmed the whole season) Portis ended up beating Barry Sanders' Single season rushing record because he was the Offense. Anyhoo the next season had garbage loads of Cap ended up signing all the big name free agents and drafting the single greatest draft class in NFL. Next Year made playoffs, lost in Wild Card. Next Next year Rookies develop lose one game in the simmed mode take Superbowl over the get this Denver Broncos in which Champ was injured for his career.
