with "ESPN 2005". How in the hell do you save a season?

I've had to start over 3 friggen times already. And once I played thru the 4th week. Thought I saved it. Came back later that night and it wasn't saved. Boy was I pissed.

Could anyone help me out? I'm sure its something simple....

umm.. during the season screen, I just go to options I think and then click on save. Save it. I can't give you exacts but it wasn't anything that wasn't obvious. I can give you a screen by screen when I get home. I actually stopped playing the franchise and I've been playing online. I'm 20-10 with the skins... is it xbox or station?

Play station....

This is the first time I've had this problem with ANY game. Sports games or action games. It has me baffled.

That sig is actually bad for me.... I have this habbit of getting stuck staring at it. It's not like I hate winslow or anything, I just can't stop watching someone get floored like that. I mean, that's why I watch football. So when you have my reason for watching football all summed up in one little short snippit like that I just can't stop watching it. I go to a random thread expecting to read something and I get stuck looking at that sig for 20 minutes... It's a trap.

As for the game, I don't have ps2. Well, I have a ps2, I just have the game for xbox. Does your memory card have enough space? Do you have another that you can try? I'd say try saving it under a different name or a unique name. I'm not sure. I wish I could help ya there.

I'm not really on the team yet. I go to Watkins Mill. I don't even think I will make it, but I don't care too much. I'm trying out for every sport. Even the ones I can't play like tennis, soccer, ect.

I figured it out finally. I thought "VIP" was the franchise mode. I wasn't actually saving it correctly.

Well, Taylor has TD on a INT. Portis is out for two weeks due to a concussion.

And Arrington knocked out Warner for the Giants....:D

Oh yeah...Carmelo, I know what you mean about just sitting there and watching it. I do it myself. lol

And thanks R2C. I happened to run across it at a UNC MB...Seems like everyone but Brown fans dislike this guy.

You'll most likely make it, the question is will you start. Are you trying for JV or Varsity? It's tough for a freshman to make Varsity.

Hey Mike, you're still playing ESPN? I figured you to be a Madden fan. I bought 2k5, played it and had to trade it in for Madden the next week. There is no substitute for Madden IMHO :) .

yeah, i ended up starting in the middle of the season too... then i tore my ACL... god hates me

but i started again junior year and now i hope to get a scholarship, just gotta figure out what position i wanna play :rolleyes:

Im glad i didnt go to watkins mill. I heard they got smashed like 70-0 on their HOMECOMING!!!!! I have a lot of friends there, so I was all over them.

That seriously sucks... 70-0??? on their homecoming?!?! That's crazy! How can you lose 70-0?

No forreal. No one knows bad football like Jamestown Varisy football in Williamsburg, Virginia. We had a one-win season last year. We only had 3 games we didnt get shut-out in, and we actually have one WR that is a senior this year and getting scouted by alot of D-1 schools (I think your Tarheels are one of them, Mike): UNC, VT, UVA, JMU, and there was another one I cant remember...Syracuse I think. Anyway hes our best player and a huge beast. We lost our homecoming game like 45-38 or something like that but it was close for us and we (the band) were just happy it was high-scoring. Seriously remember this name though:

TERELL WHITE.

Anyway, best of luck IB with football. I don't play myself but I would if I wasn't such a beast at drumming (quints in sophmore year, only 2nd person to do that in school history; cept for the other soph on quints this year). I always play with my friends backyard-tackle style at the park on fridays during the fall. I love TE and I have alot of friends who play, most of which on JV. Two of my friends play WR and one plays TE, one who's goin to the Falcs game with me...anyway, best of luck and go dominate in the name of the Burgundy and Gold!

i tore my ACL in our home coming game, once i left they scored on us every other down... sad day without pyro

on another note: dancing with crutches is friggin hard!

i made varsity as a frosh...

Thats pretty good. I tried out for Varsity for freshman year and got manhandled. I looked like a fool out there. Played JV one year and Varsity the rest, and played some QB senior year.

i was actually the fastest guy on the field running a 4.5 (thats without pads) and was stronger than our starting RB... then i tore my ACL and it's been an uphill battle ever since
