Not sure if this has been posted or not, but every Monday,Smoot is on 99.1 whfs (sports junkies)- He is on around 8:30 or so. I listened to him on Monday - he was hilarious!!! - Said that Taylor will be with the first team in a week or so - He stated that the fans need not worry about the offense's production - that Gibbs is amazing and they are running a VERY Vanilla playbook. Just wanted everyone to know that lives in DC/VA/MD area.

I know every player keeps saying not to worry because the playbook is watered down, but some of the guys are making bad mistakes especially at the QB position. Thats what gets me worried.

I would rather have them show their rustiness now, than when the games actually count. And by that time, they will begin to get enough snaps, so that at least one of them is good.

yeah, I heard this as well. Man he was talking about a lot more than just football. I wouldn't be surprised if the Redskins put an end to his "Smoot Smack" segment on the Junkies....lol

Yes, Gibbs is a gameday genius. No matter what they show in the preseason, I guarantee the team will be supremely confident and ready to roll out the full systems on Sept 12. Preseason precision would be nice, but is just a bonus.
