I was watching the game today and Tavarez closed it out, so he must have appealed.

As a side note, one of the anouncers said the hat was sent to a lab and it tested negative for Tar, or whatever they had him tossed for.

I have just one question though, haven't they ever seen Steve Kline's hat?
