Who will be the skins leading tackler this year?I think it will be washington since he can get to the ball carrier quick.

I say LaVar. He'll be moving to the other side where he'll be playing the run game more. I think he'll have a real good number of tackles this year. Barrow is a close one though.

Thats a tough one but if i got to guess i'd have to say M. Washington. Just seem's to find the ball no matter what.

i say arrington, barrow might not be healthy and i think washington will be used more for pass rush.

Marcus Washington. He's in the right position and may be our best FA pickup after Portis. I think he'll have a monster season.

lavar plays weakside, and teams run behind their tight end more often then not. Lavar may be the playmaker, but being on the weakside will take some tackles away. Bowen is playing where iffy did last year, and iffy got 105 tackles, so look for bowen to get lots. Taylor is our last line of defense so he wont get more than 75 tackles. Barow doesnt have much range and will probably get hurt at some point so he won't lead the team. All signs point to washington.

Barrow... He had over 170 last year and I can't see him going down too much.

i say barrow, middle linebackers usually get a lot of running backs their way and with washington and arrington blitzing all the time he'll be the only one between the RB and the secondary... plus he led the giants in tackles last year

i agree marcus washington was a steal...but i hope barrow leads in tackles and marcus leads in sacks. lavar you better get it together this year, you are not the only stud here anymore.

barrow seems in great physical condition to me... a lot better than the person that used to be back there

I voted Barrow to (unwillingly) make it a tie at 14 all with Lavar. IMO Lavar should be more involved in the rushing schemes, which will take him away from some tackling opportunities. Therefore I think a healthy Barrow will have to be all over the field to stop inside runners, and he will excel at that.

I went with Washington, but I was torn between him and Barrow - the guy is a tackling machine, but needs to be on the field to make those tackles.

Would LOVE to be able to say one of the D-linemen but WE ALL know that ain't going to happen. ...... Washington would be the most logical choice. Lavar is going to be expected to make plays and disrupt the offense. .... Barrows ..... who's that - haven't seen that guy one the field yet - does he have a #????? ....

If that tendanites gets out of Barrows knee he has the potential to be awsome..... but I voted for Lavar, gotta stick with my man till someone shows me they're better.

A safety should never lead your team in tackles, especially the FS! Why would you want Taylor to lead this team in tackles?

Barrow. Middle LB's usually lead the team in tackles.

i'll have to go with barrow on this one because:
1. MLBs should be getting the most tackles on a team since the DTs should be freeing them up
2. LaVar will be leading the league in sacks
3. Marcus Washington will probably be rushing the passer and won't be in the right position to be making all those tackles on RBs
and because
4. barrow led the nfc in tackles last year

why no love for lavar? i went with barrow cuz hes the middle lb, but lavar surely isnt that bad. the move to weakside will be huge for him IMO

Barrow will have the most tacles, Arrington the most sacks, and Washington the most interceptions (of the three linebackers).

is barrow even going to be ready for week one? if he is ready ( meaning healthy) he should lead with no question, but will he be ready? :sfight:
I live in NJ and I watched Barrow every Sunday when he was with the Giants. He will lead the team in tackles, if he can ever get on the field...

2. LaVar will be leading the league in sacks
strongly doubt that, linebackers usually don't lead the league in sacks, usually only tackles... i expect Jason Taylor to get more sacks than arrigton, even without Ogun on the other side of the line

ogun is in chi town. yea i agree that linebackers dont lead the league in sacks, but he could lead the LINEBACKERS in sacks like in 2002 with marvin lewis
