The Hoops are grouped with Barca and Milan. That is pretty rough.
And Rangers, well they aren't grouped with anybody.

Arsenal. They have a good draw. No powerhouses to deal with early.

Arsenal won't win. They've made a living off beating Balton Wanderes, Birmingham and other teams that wouldn't win the Israeli league. They won't have that in the CL.

you forgot Manchester United, Everton, Newcastle, Liverpool, Chelsea and didnt lose a game. Could any of those teams win the Israeli title? They arent much different from last year, only really Sol Campbell's injury.

Not sure when they beat Man Utd last year in the league and Chelsea knocked them out of Europe. Newcastle are a team that Arsenal is supposed to beat.

As much as I hate to say it being a Spurs fan, Arsenal now hold the English record for the most consecutive games in the league without a defeat at 43. That is 31 wins and 12 draws. That is the last two games of the 2002/2003 season, the entire 2003/2004 season and the first three games this year. It is an incredible feat.
Had Arsenal avoided Chelsea in the Champions League last year, I think they would have won it all. Arsenal have owned Chelsea for the past decade, Chelsea played one good game and gained an aggregate win. They have a 17 year old in Fabregas who is an incredible talent. Cambell and Viera have not even played yet this year.
After seeing the groups, I go with Arsenal.

Good luck today!
I plan on keeping an eye on the scores on the internet this afternoon. (Another productive day at the office).
I did just read that ESPN Deportes will be showing the Barca games (as well as Real Madrid and some others) live. And since Barca is playing Celtic, that is the game I want to see today. So now I'm trying to find out if I get ESPN Desportes on my DirecTV at home, but my wife won't answer the phone. Arrrggh!

What a pity that the PSG did their best performance since the beginning of the season...
Chelski is more than impressive. They are very solid, gret midfield. Makelele and Tiago had a big game. Their forwards are good.
We lost on details even if the ball control was from Chelski.
I'm so-so on the game bc we played better than our last games, but it clearly wasn't enough for the team we had in front of us.
At least Porto is not the same team than last year, and our chance is here.
Just a note, Drogba is a B****.

* In Rome, a match between Roma and Dynamo Kiev was stopped at halftime with Dynamo leading 1-0 after Swedish referee Anders Frisk was hit in the head by an object thrown from the stands as he left the field. Frisk was helped off the field with blood streaming down his forehead and face.
As Frisk blew the whistle to end the first half, he gave a red card to Roma defender Philippe Mexes for pushing down a Dynamo defender. Frisk decided his assistants were too inexperienced to take over the match. UEFA will decide in the next few days when to complete the match.

At some stage UEFA has got to get tough on things like this. If a British club did this they would be hit hard. This s**t happens week in week out in Spain and Italy and nothing is done.

I doubt that the statement about intentionally sitting near the visitor's bullpen so they could mouth off to the players is going to be looked upon favorably by a judge or jury.

Well the crowd was not good against Drogba. He has been insulted all game long, and before the game. (I was there, so I know).
What we can say is that the crowd was stupid, and Drogba was more stupid to answer the way he did it. Goals would have been enough.

This seems like a pretty strong response:
forfeit (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=ap-refereehit&prov=ap&type=lgns)
They take the loss for the in progress game, and they lose out on all the gate money for two big games, and have a significant part of the homefield advantage taken away.
