I think USC is the team to beat, especially if their young WR's can develop as they hope.

Until someone knocks them out - LSU should have been the #1 team.

No team on this poll has that "championship" look. Every team has a major flaw with it.

i do not follow college football at all, but USC didn't look that great against VA tech.

I like Oklahoma this year. They choked towards the end of last season.

You're right, they didn't, but remember that it was basically a "road" game against a hungry and disrespected VTech squad. But they have the easiest schedule of any of the top challengers for the title, and if their young skill players come together they won't miss Mike Williams as much as people may think.

OU has more pieces to the puzzle than anyone but who knows what team will show up: the one that crushed Texas or the one that got handled by K-State.

USC has a faily easy schedule and playing in the Pac-10 doesn't hurt.

No one can remain undefeated in the SEC so I think Georgia and LSU will have a tough time of it.

I'm going out on a limb here and say that this year Mac Brown will get his head out of his arse and use the talent filled Texas squad to take it to the house. I mean really, isn't it about time that he wins something with the talent that Texas brings in...if not, then I'd say he's gone.

i think usc is prolly the most complete team. they look like they have adequate replacements. i watched jason white play vs kansas state and lsu, and he chokes more than monica lewinsky when it comes to the big games. matt leinart on the other hand looks really good. i'd say georgia but i think they have injury problems. chris rix is ahack until he proves otherwise, and i dont think that he can. and alot of teams(ohio state, michigan, miami of ohio, ole miss, and LSU are playing with a new qb under center.

i'm a bit of a homer, but i really like Oklahoma this year. they didn't lose a whole lot that i can remember, and the biggest hole was the running game, which this new kid from TX is supposedly going to fix. we'll see though, college football is even more unpredictable than the NFL...anyone remember how high auburn was ranked last year?
