who can make or break their chances to make the team with their performance on friday against atlanta? i bring this up because gibbs mentioned that they are going to get some guys alot of time during this last pre-season to see what kind of player they are and to see what they've got. ladell betts and taylor jacobs were among the bubble players mentioned. i think those two really need to show something or else coach's decisions wont be as easy. i also think ron warner, sultan, simon, gari scott, bauman, wilds and rufus brown need strong showings tomorrow. any thoughts?

Betts and Jacobs need to play a lot, I think. I really want to see what they can do. Jacobs more so. I think our LB core as a whole needs to play and get snaps together, though. Sutan needs some PT as well.

it's going to be hard to get all of those RB's adequate time to prove themselves in just one game so I think the decisions has already been made. At least for one or two of them, but as for bubble players I pretty much agree with everyone you said.

Well, I actually think that Rock Cartwright is on the bubble (I actually think that Simon & Sultan will make the team). Too bad he is hurt. I don't think that Ron Warner is in trouble (he will make it also). My man Clifton Smith might be on the bubble (only because we have several good LB's and it might simply be a numbers crunch thing). Taylor Jacobs will definitely make the team IMO. I think (or should I say, hope) that Ade Jimoh gets cut.

Rock, Betts, Sultan, Simon, Jacobs, Rufus brown, Garnell Wilds

All of the above . . but I hope Wilds has a good game and gets himself on the Team!

That's where I'm at. I would really like to see Garnell do well.

Jimoh has to be hanging on for dear life. I think Scott and Simon need to play well to give the coaches pause about cutting them. Jacobs is just a wash to me, the guy plays like three plays since being drafted and fumbles. I would like Betts to justify that he belongs on the team and I think he will.

I think Warner and Rufus Brown are on the team and Williams is very curious to see what he can get from them this season. I hope Bauman solidifies his place because cutting him and Ralph Brown would not say much for the supposed bolstering we did for the depth of our secondary this offseason.

Rock, Betts, Sultan, Simon, Jacobs, Rufus brown, Garnell Wilds

I'd say they're going to keep Wilds because of spec team play.

So, Rock, Betts, and Jacobs.

I hope everybody has a good game, but I really want to see Brown or Wilds step up and do really well. You can't have too many good corners.

I just wanna see one more sweet game from Ron Warner so I can start to anticipate good things from him during the regular season.

Play the scrubs and see how they do against the first string. Build cohesion in the OL and DL. Make sure no key players get hurt.

That's all I care about.

Rb's have to perform, CB subs also.

This game should be called the battle of the backs ( RB'S & DB'S ). At first I thoght " Rock " might be in trouble, but I think the real battle now will be between Simon and McCollough.
