What is going on with the youth of today?

Back when I was growing up (60's and 70's) you settle arguments with a fist fight. If you win, you win. If you lose, you lose.

End of argument.

But today, if someone loose's a fight, they come back later and KILL the person that beat them up.

The blond man left in his car, shouting curses and threatening revenge, Smith said. He returned later and asked Smith where to find the men who had beaten him, saying he had "a .38 Smith & Wesson for them."

Smith, who said the man appeared intoxicated, pointed in the direction of the victims and heard gunshots a short time later.

Smith ran to the shooting scene and found one victim wounded in the face, the other in the upper torso.

"My reaction is that I got two guys killed," Smith said.
Ummm.. yeah. That's messed up. You see guys get in a fight... You see a drunk guy come back after the fight and tell you he's got a gun 'for them' and then you point them in the right direction to go and kill. I'm not sure where you're from but where I'm from I think that it was very clear you were sending them to the kill zone. You didn't get help. You didn't point them in the wrong direction to hopefully try to avoid violence. You didn't do anything. You just said, they're right over there Mr. Drunk-man-with-a-gun-and-revenge-in-your-eyes. I know I am being a little harsh considering he didn't pull the trigger but damn... If I had lived through that shooting and read this in the paper I would have been very angry at this guy too. At least send him to the other side of the parking lot and get help. You KNEW what was going to happen and if you didn't you're a retard. They told you what was going to happen. You facilitated it. You could have saved two lives. Oh and yes, I think it's horrible that the two guys who did the shooting in the first place. Or for that matter the guy got pulled out of his car and beat down even before that. I just think the guy who pointed them to the kill was stupid.
