This is another reason and another event that proves we are the ost hated team in the NFL......do u see fake storys about Lewis or Holmes or Green or any top rb in the NFL?......no this only happend to the Redskins and it wont happen to any other team. Though i think it was funny now that its not true. Those few hours where i though it was in fact real.....i was very upset. Im just happy its fake and it pumped me up even more for this season....WE ARE GONNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?! There was this huge fake @$$ rumor going around that said CP was injured and out for 8-12 weeks. There are like 3 or 4 threads about this.

Actually, it already happened to Larry Allen of Dallas. He was falsely reported to be injured. From the Washington Post: A similar hoax apparently was done on Dallas offensive lineman Larry Allen on Wednesday. The NFL is investigating the false internet story, league sources said

It's just like fake news about stocks to get ppl to quickly buy or sell that stock. This mis-information is easily posted on the internet, to throw off people who are making choices for their fantasy football teams.

I think you may see more of these stories in the future to get the fans riled up, so I disagree that it's specifically targeted at our team. I didn't realize it was this big until I got on CBS to check my fantasy team and saw a link that said "Portis Injury False" ... I was like WTF!!!
