At the Halftime report [score was 10-3]; there was a very telling Fox Main crew report on the game. The main emphasis [Howie Long & Jimmie Johnson] was that the 'skins had completely dominated the first half. Both Long and Jimmie really talked up the defense and how well the 'skins were playing. It was all very positive. .....................Thennnnn Bradshaw comes crashing in to say that it was "still a close game' and "don't present the Lombardi trophy to the Redskins just yet", there was also some joking that he had been saying that [B]'Gibbs and his coaching crew were so old "they didn't know which side of the field to go to". I was a little shocked, in this 'PC age' that they said that! Bradshaw's bias against the Redskins [which I'd only heard about] really came out.

By the end-of-game report, it had all changed. Long and Johnson really talked about the great defensive effort and GW genius, etc. Terry Bradshaw then went on about how he thought that Gibbs had brought back 'good organization' after the Spurrier era. It all looked like a staged sort of message to me after the previous gaffes............I do not trust Bradshaw after this one.........

Yeah I usually agree with what Howie Long has to say about things, and Bradshaw and I almost never agree with Bradshaw. He seems like a "buzzkill" type guy to me, and rarely ever gives things (teams, players, coaches. etc.) their due.

The Chris Collinsworth and Troy Aikman play-by-play was pretty good. They gave a lot of good comments on the 'skins. Aikman kept saying that the 'skins should have scored more points and put the Bucs away early.

Troy ALSO had some good things to say about LaVar.........I guess he really is an announcer now.

Yeah they even showed the play where LaVar gave him a concussion. I don't mind Troy Aikman the announcer.

Yeah you guys are right Troy really is a solid announcer now and so is Collinsworth, I liked that booth and they were very complimentary to the Skins. I still wanna see us put together a solid passing game though first, we can improve a lot but it's nice to see us get some love.

He had nice things to say about the Redskins... without that Cowgirls uniform, he's not that "hateable"

Bradshaw is right...I get too many nausiating flashbacks of the hype we got in years past. This all sounds so familiar and I just can't srtop thinking about our last two openers and how everyone was saying we got a shot at the playoffs. I know it's Gibbs and everything but I'm not going to be fooled again. One game at a time...

Yeah I'm really psyched to have a win and all the new kick ass players and Gibbs but this is also a game that we definitely should have won and we gotta keep getting better b/c anyone who has been watching the Eagles play, they're pretty darn good too, so let's keep improving so we can take the throne back from those A-holes.

Your right. I think most of us are like that. At least I am. One game at a time....

Bradshaw never says anything good about the Skins. I did'nt like Troy on the broadcast at first but he does do a pretty good job, and usually tells it like it is.

With Joe you'll never get anything more than one game at a time. He spends all his energy on the current task and won't let himself even think about looking down the road.

I seem to remember things being like this back during Gibbs I. About 20 minutes after rejoicing each win everyone starts going, "yeah, but the next opponents are really gonna be tough!". Only when we look back do we realize just how good those teams actually were.

I think it all stems from Gibbs, who seems to approach every game as though our opponent could win if the Skins don't put it all on the line. He's right to do so!

Bradshaw is an arrogant, self-centered, horses arse. I know this from personal experience (which I won't bother getting into here)...I bet he has trouble finding right sound stage from time to time....talk about calling the kettle black....
