Stopping the run is a sure way to stay competitive in this league. Three games isn't much, but let's see how long we can keep this going. The games have been against some weak to average rushing teams, but I think our run D is pretty stout this year.
Dating from last year:
Philly
This year:
Tampa
NYG
Last 100 rusher was A-train busting us for about 150 in the second to last game last year.
Coming up we have:
Dallas: Eddie George, Rashard Lee
Cleveland: William Green, Lee Suggs
Baltimore: Jamal Lewis
Chicago: Thomas Jones, A-Train
Green Bay: Ahman Green
Detriot: Kevin Jones, Artose Pinner
Cinn: Rudi Johnson
Philly: Brian Westbrook, Donovan McNabb
Pitt: Duce Staley, Jerome Bettis
New York: Tiki Barber, Ron Dayne
Philly: Brian Westbrook, Donovan McNabb
San Fran: Kevan Barlow
Dallas: Eddie George, Rashard Lee (Julius Jones?)
Minn: Michael Bennett, Onterrio Smith
We have 3 in a row right now, how long do you think it'll last?
I say we get to 6 and then Thomas Jones, Ahman Green and Kevin Jones give us some problems and the D-line people will lose their minds.
